AMFC began in Calgary, a coalition of veteran leaders from Korean, Cantonese, South Asian, Thai, Tagalog, and Indonesian media. This federation was established to bridge community-driven newsrooms with mainstream Canadian broadcast networks.
Our mission is to preserve cultural heritage, safeguard independent ethnic media, and elevate grassroots voices in civic discourse across Alberta. We foster sustainable journalism practices through collaboration and shared resources.
